I solicit your additions to the sections on hangar facilities and sensors. I also invite your correction relating to the gravitic thrusters, as I know you fiddled a bit with their placement while working on the hull.
--Psion 00:42, 22 May 2009 (EDT): I was just gonna go in and work on the History section and now see you're still working on the whole section. This is fun!
--Umbriel 00:40(?), 22 May 2009 (EDT): I put a frame and caption on the Moskva picture and it expanded to full size. Can you shrink it back down to something more appropriate? (Good pic, though, it took me a while to realize it wasn't real). Also, I think we need a picture of the first version of the Firehawk here too.
--Psion 01:44, 22 May 2009 (EDT): Thanks! How's this?
--Umbriel 01:39(?), 22 May 2009 (EDT): Resizing looks good. Thanks. Is the earlier version picture doable, or are you so enamored of the new design that you can't bear to deal with the old one?
--Psion 02:24, 22 May 2009 (EDT): I think we can do it; I just need to dig it up. I'm not fond of the interim design, but it isn't too bad of an interim step. And I hope you don't mind the introductory text I added. I sometimes succumb to whimsy.
Give me a call at 267-934-6367 if you'd like to discuss a few things with me.
--Leon 03:44, 22 May 2009 (EDT): Okay, you didn't call, so I can only assume that you eventually decided to be sensible and head to bed. By now, you should be asking yourself, "Who the heck is 'Leon'?" Well, as I mentioned above, I tend to succumb to whimsy and I had this crazy notion that the site shouldn't be put together by you and me, but by a couple of fans of System 4ce and the overall narrative tone should be theirs. So ... "Leon and Harry" (the names could be anything) become the primary source of information. Leon and Harry should be reasonably smart, but opinionated at the level of stereotypical Trekkies, and dedicated researchers of their favorite subject -- System 4ce. So, they're often right (naturally, so the site is useful), but they bicker a lot behind the scenes (principally here in these talk pages). It's a detail reserved only for members of the group who dig a little deeper than the primary material. And adds a degree of ... verisimilitude to the site and research process.
Well, it's late, and I might be caught up in a moment of sleepless punchiness and my idea might lose some of its charm in the fresh light of a new day, but if you think it's worthwhile, let me know and tell me what name you'd prefer and I can switch EVERYTHING that's been done in your name AND your login within a few minutes.
--Umbriel 10:41, 22 May 2009 (EDT): Sounds great. We'll be busy much of today, but I'll try to contact you this evening. Go ahead and make the changes, but I'll go with a more fanboyish name, like Dwayne.
