--Leon 18:02, 15 June 2009 (EDT): Is it Valkyre or Valkrye? Or Valkyrie?

--Dwayne 10:20, 15 June 2009 (EDT): There seem to be a variety of spellings about, with the -ie being the most widely accepted. Inasmuch as the character is German by birth, and would consider the natural spelling to be "Walküre" she seems to have gone with the simplest anglicization, leaving out the extraneous "i".

--Leon 23:38, 15 June 2009 (EDT): All very fascinating to etymologists or the like. But I was just trying to pin down which of the two you used was correct.

--Dwayne 00:01, 16 June 2009 (EDT): Okay, I've corrected that alternative spelling, also known as a "typo" on the Sybil page.

--Leon 06:16, 16 June 2009 (EDT): Awesome! But could you please correct the alternative on Valk...'s page too, so I know which one to use on the main page? Compare the infobox with the title. I wasn't trying to score points, I was asking a simple question. Which one's correct? With no sarcasm intended or implied, I'm just confused and want to know the final, official spelling of the character's name.

--Dwayne 06:10, 16 June 2009 (EDT): Corrected same transposition typo in the infobox, but since that makes my original success ratio 50:50, I guess I understand your confusion.

--Leon 11:16, 16 June 2009 (EDT): Thanks! Now I see what's going on. But ... [no, I'm not smirking] ... did ya notice the picture's filename has that damned typo, too? [No, really! I'm totally straight-faced. This twitching is because of allergies.]

Seriously, though, I doubt anyone will even notice that. And ... I think I can correct it in the database and uploaded filename.
